much improved ride performance after this strut change
I am shocked how easy it was to install these on my 2002 Honda Civic - HA ! Should have done it a long time ago. I feared the big bolts would shear off from corrosion during the many New England winters with salt/ice on the roads, and I would have difficulty. Instead, a little break free soak and I was able to remove and reuse all my big bolts. The kit doesn't come with these, so it would have been expensive/difficult to replace these critical bolts holding the lower end of the strut to the steering knuckle. I don't think I even need to have a new alignment as the car still tracks nicely on the road. If you need them, set aside 4 hours and do it ! You will like the cars improved ride. Do the lower A frame's too with the rotted rubber bushings - but they take a little more persuasion ... I am shocked how easy it was to install these on my 2002 Honda Civic - HA ! Bolt in struts
Was sceptical about ready to bolt in struts,because of another set I purchased.I am happy to say that so far these struts seem to be pretty good.Ride is nice,not harsh.No knocking when hitting bumps.Only time will tell but so far so good.

Good BUT
The only negative about these is that they sit about an 1”-1.5” higher than stock. For those of us that ride height and wheel gap is important, it puts us in a weird pickle. Outside of that, amazing. Might just have to do some spring swapping

Poor quality, just made it out of the warranty period.
Front struts on a civic made it 7 months, just out of warranty period. Both strut mounts rattled because the rubber bushing came loose in the strut mount. Pay a bit more and get a better warranty.
