    Doesent hold a candle to a Starrett

    Thinner and definitely much more flimsy than a tempered starrett or similar scale. Will bend if not careful. Markings are accurate and well defined, can't really beat it for $5 compared to $40 Starret, but if you use daily for work I'd definitely recommend a Starrett and using this as a back up. Cheap enough to throw in every toolbox

    Professional quality for a great price.

    This scale is pretty good, clearly marked and readable. The edges have a fine finish but corners are a bit sharp. I buffed them with a bit of emery to knock off the sharp edges. The scale is a bit thin and flexible but not too bad. Perfect for quick reference.
