Swiss Army Knife of Nav Units.
A motorcycle GPS has all you’ll want in a nav unit. Weather proof, Large screen, glove friendly, bright easy to see even when the angle of sun makes that funky light. WiFi enabled so it can update while on your network. Bluetooth enabled to easy connect to your phone and headset. Can make routes and download the programmed ride. I had a Garmin 650 for 11 years. It finally gave out. Used Waze on phone for a couple seasons and got stuck out in the sticks with no cell service. Afterward coughed up the cha-Ching for this puppy. Hopefully it will last as long as the 650. I’ll be past 80 yo by then and won’t care about getting lost. A motorcycle GPS has all you’ll want in a nav unit. Zumo XT, best GPS yet.
My previous GPS was a Zumo 660. This one is light years ahead. It's like comparing a rotary phone with a smart phone. The screen is extremely bright, very high resolution and still glove friendly. You could see the dots in the text of the old gps. The processor is very fast and responsive. When you pan or scroll, it acts like a smart phone does. I do have trouble making the map rotate. Bottom line, I am very pleased with the Zumo XT. It has many features that will make it fun to use.My previous GPS was a Zumo 660. This one is light years ahead. This Garmin sumo XT is just what I was looking for , It connected to my Cardo head set right away and my phone . Very easy set , very fast reaction through the screens . Display is very bright and clear , I would recommend this for anyone looking to purchase a GPS for their motorcycle

Beautiful screen, lackluster voices, good software and UI. Excellent value with the bundle.
The Garmin works exactly as I expect it to. The screen is bright and easy to see even in bright sunlight. The touch screen is responsive, and the UI is intuitive and easy to work with, even while on the bike. The mounting hardware is perfect, being house-brand RAM mount ball and knuckle pieces. I'm not sure about the charging cable's ability to deflect heat. It didn't feel like a silicone sheath. Be careful where you route it, keep it away from the engine as much as possible, or get some heat sheath for it. There are only 2 real concerns I have for this Nav. First, the quality of the navigation voice is quite low. Compared with Google or Apple's voice, it's very low-bitrate; muffled and crunchy. And there are no options to download additional voices. You're stuck with the ... The Garmin works exactly as I expect it to. The screen is bright and easy to see even in bright sunlight. You're stuck with the Female American voice if you're in America. I remember just a few years ago there were entire markets devoted to selling wacky navigation voices. Not anymore, apparently. Second, the unit pauses for a very long time to read instructions or chime alerts. When I'm listening to music, it will go silent for 2-3 seconds before reading the direction or making the alert sound, then wait another 5 seconds after that before resuming the music. There's a long enough pause to make me think something is wrong. These are easily fixable software concerns though. Also worth noting: Even though the unit will charge over USB, the port on my bike doesn't provide enough power to sustain it. And, by default the screen will only go up to 40% brightness until you connect it to the hard-wired cable. Each time you plug a USB cord into it, the unit tries to go into sync/update mode. It's best to bite the bullet and hard-wire it. The bundled power bank is one of the nicer and more full-featured ones I've seen. It has a large and clear LCD readout for battery %, and in/out status of charge. It charges itself over USB Micro or USB-C, and has a Qi pad so you can charge your device wirelessly. It's about the size of an iPhone, and even feels similar in a pocket. I was able to charge my iPhone XS from 30% to 100%, as well as a small camping light, and it used a bit more than half the battery. I doubt the capacity is anywhere near what's rated on the package, but these power banks are never accurate. Just go by the display and you'll be fine. The carrying case that came included with the deal is nice, if a bit cheap. It seems like a generic case that happens to fit the Garmin, but wasn't made specifically for it. It wouldn't likely provide much impact protection as there's no foam or padding inside, but it will keep the unit safe from scratches if you wanted to store the Garmin in a saddlebag.

Not perfect by any means but is about the best out there.
Way more expensive than TomTom and others but very little added features. Basecamp is not an easy to use product. A big learning curb. Still a pretty good product and most gpx files out there are specifically for the Garmin.
