The product was purchased for a Calculus 3B class at Shasta Comm. College to go along with the textbook that I had already purchased elsewhere. I find that with calculus it is especially important to have the solutions manual because there is simply not enough time in the class to have all of the problem-solving-procedure questions answered. Especially since each student has thier own that they forget and the instuctor must try to meet eveyone's needs as best as she can. I haven't had a lot of experience with other solutions manuals, but I have found that I like this one to a certain extent. In some ways the format seemed a bit awkward and took some getting used to, but that was probably just me and the way I looked at it. I don't know, i like the book because i like math. it is hard to say that you will love or dislike a acadame book. the book just have everything that is fact. the only point i don't like it is the solution mannul is separet which i have to buy it too. anyway my math teacher just say we need the book, but face, i could borrow it from library in my school....

Excellent Product to Use for Help with Math.
This product is a must-buy for those challenged or even slightly worried about the difficulties of single variable calculus. The odd problems are solved clearly and precisely, so that confused learners can follow along easily and learn to solve similar problems on their own. I love this product, and I recommend it to any others taking Calculus, whether for high school or for college.

If you are taking Calculus this book is a must have! it works out all of the odd problems and has helped me to understand more than one concept that i had been lost on before.
