Prompt delivery. Great value! Pump is quiet and has a nice throughput. But its input filter will clog easily without a pre-filtering stage. I slit a plastic milk bottle to insert the pump drawing the outlet plug from inside and through its mouth, which I jammed with packing foam. Next, I stapled (sew) the large entry slit, and then cut multiple small slits on the side to allow water to easily penetrate the bottle while holding back algea and muck. Add some lava rocks inside if you want .

Bought to replace pump for cat 3 liter stainless cone fountain. Pump came with it broke in 5 months. Every reviewer complained the pump was a loser. Bought one of these at local Garden Supply. Success! Finally gave up after 4 years, Bought THREE of these so that I would have a backup. Cat Fountains depend on pump to keep water filter working. THESE ARE THE BEST. Must "retrofit" to downsize outlet. Buy the 280 GPH, Cut threaded pump nozzle. Waterproof Gorilla glue original pipe inside.
