I used these for a 20 gallon long so I can separate 3 bettas into one tank to conserve space. There was a VERY SMALL gap but that wasn’t an issue considering I had planned (and did) adding silicone. These are extremely sturdy and well made. I think they could work without the silicone depending on the species of fish for easy removal and adjustability. I debated buying for awhile due to the price but it was well worth it, I would buy again! It also came within the first week of purchasing.
