I was confused of the nib terminology and how to actually assemble the ink cartridge. I got help from a YouTube video and it worked out great. I really like the way the pen writes and how much smoother over the average store bought pens. This is my favorite style pen.

This is a honest review from a person who has been using fountain pens on a daily basis for the past 2 years. Like my title suggests, these set of pens might look like a good deal (several types of nibs, comes with convertor and carrying case), but don't be fooled! To begin, the case itself is of very cheap quality, firm but gentle pressure (such as when you pick it up) is enough to accidently crack the plastic and render the case useless, also the plastic for holding the items inside the case is paper thin and can punture easily even from normal use. Regarding the pen and nibs themselves, they have a cheap, lightweight feel to them and the nibs are of very low quality; for example, the included converter doesn't even fit any of the nibs! Not one! Once I was able fit one of the ink cartridges onto the nib, the feeding mechanism does not let the ink flow properly so the ink doesn't come down; in short, I had to treat the pen like a dip pen in order for me to try it out. The nibs are not well made; even fresh out of the box, the tines on the nibs were separated and leave two separate marks on the paper. The pen has a horrible, scratchy feeling while writing on paper and uneven lines with ink blots as a final result. Overall, the pen nibs don't work properly and the quality of this product is shabby throughout, leading to a horrible experience and pens that I will never use again. If you want suggestions for cheap but good pens (most which you can get on Ebay), look below: 1.) Pilot Metropolitan 2.) Jinhao pens in general (personally recommend the x450) 3.) Sheaffer Viewpoint Calligraphy Pen if you want a cheap, high quality wide nib) I hope my above review dissuades you from getting this product and spending your money on something better.Read full review

item is great due to many tips which leads to different styles but the pen itself feels very cheap. overall its a good pen but I would rather buy a single pen with one tip than this one.

The pens, although they look great, do not perform weill. It is difficult to have the ink flow easily and one has to constantly be shacking it on order for the ink to come out. When there some ink in the pen nib, it writes rather smoothly.
