More powerful than I expected. Loud rumbling low bass and mid bass is great too. Not very punchy in my set up though. I figure it's the acoustics of my 88 Suburban. I have it up only at half power though, the knobs that adjust Gain and Frequency. All the way up drowns out my normal speakers with thick ass Bass rumbling. Over all I'm impressed. The mounting Hardware didn't fi my Suburban, too short n smaller threads, but I made my own easy enough.

    Great Sound in a Small Package

    I installed this spare tire subwoofer in my 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback EX. I didn’t even know these types of subwoofers existed. I was looking for a compact solution to fit my trunk that I wouldn’t have to remove for every road trip like my previous 12” sub/ported box setup and then I stumbled across this. I was skeptical since it’s smaller than the 12” I had, and way cheaper than any other spare tire sub on the market (there aren’t many). But wow, this thing slaps!! The bass is not quite as “deep” as my 12” but it’s plenty loud and punches hard! It’s just what my car needed, because the stock speakers are already good, but it needed extra kick. And this thing does the trick. The fitment was tricky for my car just because of how the spare tire sits. I had to buy a longer threaded rod for ...

    PERFECT FOR BOOMS

    This is a great subwoofer for it being valued $100 less than the next best product, it hits nice and hard not only that but it's smooth, the only complaint I have about this product is it is advertised as a spare tire subwoofer, and I keep a full size spare tire in my trunk. This is meant for a donut spare tire so if you have a full size spare I would say just mount it directly to the floor with the same mounting equipment.
