This is my second Sonicare toothbrush and it has a weird response to when I press harder on spots that take more brushing. It switches to the "vibrating massaging" function that isn't as vigorous as my other older device. I'm a bit disappointed but with give it a chance.

It is at times very irritating as it sounds like a dentist's drill, and bangs up against the teeth. It tickles the gums too much to the point of a slight pain. I can see why they are on sale. It takes some work to position it correctly, and I turn it off/on when moving to another quadrant in the mouth. How well it cleans depends on my next visit to the dentist . I would rather have the vibrating type.

I’ve purchased and used other toothbrushes but this one exceeds them all in performance and pricing. Very satisfied with built-in features. After commenting to my wife about how great it was she wanted hers replaced so now we both are users of this great product.

the timer feature is useful in making sure you get all areas equily. The smaller brush head makes it easier to get the fat back teeth.

Love my new toothbrush. It’s lightweight, easy to use and makes my teeth perfectly clean. I feel good about what I’m doing for the health of my teeth and gums now. Glad I opted for the Sonicare ProtectiveCare 4100. It was a reasonable price and I had read reviews enough to know I didn’t need to pay big bucks for extra bells and whistles!
