This watch truly belies its relatively low price and delivers a huge amount for the money. Featuring a fully in-house movement (that so far has been deadly accurate to +1 sec a day), one of the best executed AR coatings on the sapphire crystal that I've seen this side of Breitling, and a fit and finish that honestly is comparable to many leading Swiss brands costing many times as much. There really is very little to say in the negative about this watch : it truly IS that good. The only negative points I've found are firstly, the clasp isn't quite up to the fantastic quality of the bracelet or head. It's perfectly serviceable for desk-diving, but it is just a simple pressed steel affair and features no additional safety locking or indeed a diver's extension. This isn't really a problem for me as I always intended to put it on a rubber strap anyway (although the weirdly sized 23mm lugs makes that something of a challenge). Secondly the lume areas aren't really large enough or bright enough for a dedicated dive watch. And lastly (and this is my biggest bug-bear) the bezel insert is just plain old anodised aluminium, which again is perfectly serviceable, but in today's market it really should be ceramic. Even micro-brands are managing ceramic bezels these days so Citizen really have no excuse here. However the old-school bezel kind of fits with the retro styling so I can just about forgive it. Even though it seems like the Citizen designers bottled it at the last minute and shied away from making this a truly serious dive watch in a couple of key areas mentioned above, there is still enough retro-dive watch DNA present to satisfy even the most discerning of watch fans. All in all it's a fantastic watch at its RRP price point..., and a truly AMAZING watch at Internet prices!Read full review

I have never even thought about owning myself a Citizen watch as I grew up in Japan where Citizen watches were just everywhere. At least I would never imagine to pay more than a few hundred dollars for a Japanese made watch in the past. One day I saw a review of this watch and for some reason I wanted to give a try to Citizen for the first time in my life. As being a Japanese, I have never really understood the rave of the Japanese craftsmanship of the watches that some one would have rather I always looked at European brand for watches. Well, Citizen grand touring is just a great Japanese quality automatic watch that you would only understand after you actually owning it. I do not look at luxury over priced $wiss automatic watches any more. This was it for me.

It is a upcoming Christmas present. Is large and heavy. Nice looking. Read about it and also studied the reviews. This watch is top of the line. Bought new at a reasonable price. No presentation box. But substitute one seems fine. You wear the watch. Then send aside the box. Happy with this purchase.

I've lusted after this watch for a couple of years & finally got myself one. It's a beautiful watch. Very well built with an overall feeling of quality all over it. No regrets getting this watch into my collection.

The photos do not come close to capturing the beauty of this watch. The look and feel of of this watch equals that of watches costing three times the purchase price (in my humble opinion). I am very happy with this watch.
