This watch is gorgeous and feels great on the wrist! It looks stunning with the shark mesh bracelet. Good way to keep the OEM bracelet in pristine condition also. Get one.

The dive extension of the watch was broken on arrival, and this was not mentioned in the description despite it being a very obvious fault. The half sized extra link had the wrong sized wholes in it so the push pins didn’t fit nicely. The watch also had a huge dent in the bezel which was not photographed properly or mentioned in the description. The push pins holding the lugs to the bracelet where too short so the bracelet quickly fell off.

My quartz Seamaster Professional 300 is "the one". It goes with me wherever I go, and I feel the weight and quality of it on my wrist- they do not look cheap and they do not feel cheap. They are built like little tanks and they have the James Bond heritage behind them. Brosnan wore one, and Daniel Craig wore one in parts of the 'Casino Royale' film. For luxury quartz that goes with casual wear and formal wear, you really cannot go wrong and you'll pass it down to your kids when you're old. Make sure the helium escape valve is ABOVE the 10 o clock position- this indicates genuine. All the fakes I've seen have the helium valve ON the 10 o clock position and this gives them away every time as fake, no matter how good the rest of the watch is. And I've seen some pretty convincing fakes. Prices are reasonably cheap right now to pick up a bit of Bond history for between $1200AUD for a badly beaten Seamaster, to about $1900+AUD for a good one. I predict as with all things as the years go on, the prices will increase as they do with most things that are built well and are a luxury item. I prefer the blue dial over the black, and the blue dials seem to command slightly more money in the used market. Mine has run +/- 0 seconds over a few months and it is deadly accurate. Be sure to inspect the link pins as they are the only flaw- they can work loose over time and have the bracelet open up and the watch potentially fall. This is common to all brands that use these styles of link pins, not just Omega. So have them checked if any doubts is my advice. Have the Seamaster checked out by your local watchmaker when it arrives- make sure the correct battery is fitted, seals are good, all looks good inside and is genuine, etc. As soon as you get it. Spend the money now- you won't regret it for a second later. And if you need to sell it at any point, its likely you will get the money straight back again as they're holding value much better than others watches from the same era. For example, the bottom dropped out of Seamaster Polaris watches for good reason, yet the Seamaster Professional 300 is holding its own, and increasing each year.Read full review

This is the third Omega divers that I have purchased over the past 24 years. One was for a friend of mine and one was for my wife. I also had one but since I am retired now, I wanted one that was quartz instead of movement. This is identical in looks and feel (although lighter than the movement version). I always choose Omega and this one is just another to add to my original Moon watch which I have had for 40 years. Thanks Omega--

A classic -- I bought this used and is "pre-update." I like this dial somewhat better than the newer one. Watch is very accurate, handsome, good positive clasp action. Luminous numbers could be brighter but it is, I think, seven years old. I own a Breguet and a Zenith for dress, and a Marathon as my beater. This one is for boating and swimming as it is rugged and very waterproof. My Breguet and Zenith are automatic because I admire the workmanship and precision. This one is Quartz for "just put it on" convenience. Could be your "only" watch, or a good addition to a collection.
