This is an awesome watch. Silicone band is comfortable and heavy duty. I also purchased the Stainless bracelet which is also nice called SeikoUSA and ordered SUN019 bracelet (same watch). Lume is Super bright!! It also stays visible for a long time. The blue face is very dark and the red accents make it pop. In the Sunlight this watch is absolutely beautiful. The screw down crowns are smooth and easy to use. The bezel has a great feel and crisp clicks. Sweet watch, I'm glad I got it.thanks!! TYC

Have been eyeing Seiko Kinetic watch for some time to add to my collection. As soon as I came across this PADI special edition kinetic SUN065, I know it's time to pull the trigger. the watch did not disappoint - it has beautiful shroud, outstanding dial (3D looking), surprisingly comfortable rubber strap. The bezel is slightly misaligned but i'm okay with that. Lume is always the best you can expect from Seiko. It's a large watch but doesn't wear big and sits comfortably on my wrist. You just can't go wrong with a watch that has big dial, bright lume, kinetic-powered and GMT.

After reading an article about dive watches from $500 to $15,000, this Seiko was listed in the top 8 with price being no object. I checked one out at a local retailer. Since I own a few dive watches, including a top end Omega Proplof, I was curious. I also own a Seiko 48mm automatic diver watch that was a Japanese issue only. So after trying in on and seeing the quality and bang for the buck value, I bought it. And having a GMT HAND FOR 24 hour time and/or an extra time zone is really great for traveling. This is a great sturdy knock around travel watch that fulfills the requirements of diving, with good looks and dependability.

I had not bought a Seiko for a number of years, but when I saw this watch, I had to have it. It is my first kinetic and I had heard that Seiko had experienced problems with the energy storage. Apparently, they have replaced the former capacitor with a rechargeable battery. The beauty of the kinetic system is that you get the convenience of automatic winding with the accuracy of a quartz movement. Add to that a water resistance of 200 meters, a stylish stainless steel case, and the most comfortable silicone watch band I have ever worn, and you have a winner. The only downside is that this particular model is a limited edition Seiko. Get it now or lose a chance at owning a watch you will love.

The new Seiko Kinetic Dive watch looks good and the idea of creating a watch with Quartz accuracy w/o the need of a battery is very appealing. The info suggests it can store operating energy for up to 6 months w/o activity. For me this is good because I do not wear my dive watch every day. However, in the first few weeks of ownership, I have been unable to get the storage capacity to exceed a couple of days. I am not certain, but it appears that the watch must be worn for a substantial amount of time to obtain longer energy life. I tried to place the watch on my "Winder" but the band and watch size proved to be too large to fit on a standard size winder......so I don't know if that would work. So far I am happy with the watch and has served my purposes well.
