I give this phone 4 stars because it is "better than expected." For those who have dabbled with mid-range or low-range phones, this one is more on the high end. It can handle lots of apps open at once, no lagging, quick and nimble. Camera is solid and screen is great. It's definitely worth the investment. I also don't like the modern tall/long-rectangular phones and this is wider and shorter. Might not be the modern way, but I prefer this so much as I can reach all areas of the phone with my thumb while holding in one hand. Highly recommended. If you use it a fair bit during the day, the battery will start to run low'ish. I just came from a new, low-end Nokia which lasted 2-3 days without a charge (one of it's main selling points) but this phone performs so much better. Slowly moving up, from a Xperia XZ this newer Xz1 is faster, thinner, with a slightly longer battery life. They've updated some features so I had to learn how to use them, I was a little worried going from a 20mp camera to a 17mp camera, but I don't see much of a difference which is nice. All in all, happy purchase. 👍

I Always wanted a Sony cell phone which I could remote play my PS4 easily and liste to music to it's full potential. The battery life is not that great tho for what i'm doing with it but if your the type of person which does not surf a lot it's good. Plus the super-vivid contrast is awesome. I'll stick with this phone for years that's for sure.
