I bought this a few weeks ago. I wasn’t sure the money was going to be worth it, but the local pool service company recommended it. Yes, the local company that normally cleans pools. Apparently they have so much demand they are recommending people buy robots instead. Anyway, it was simple to use. Take it out of the box, plug it in, and drop it into the pool. After two hours I came back and had a fairly clean pool. Not a perfectly clean pool, but a fairly clean pool. In fairness, the pool is under trees and despite having a pool cover it still gets pretty dirty. Also, I only can get it “fairly” clean if I vacuum it by hand. I ran it a second time and it did a good job getting it even cleaner. The curvature of my pool walls where they meet the bottom is such that I don’t think it will ... I bought this a few weeks ago. The filters are very easy to clean, which is important since they need to be cleaned after every use. I hope the reliability is good for the price. Also I recommend getting the optional caddy which makes organizes the power unit,power cords and keeps it out of the rain with a cover.

Almost perfect
The product works perfectly. It’s something to see it climb up the sides and over the steps. The only issue I have is the plastic corners. The problem is, I have a white surfaced pool and the little plastic corners leave scuff marks around and on the steps. I didn’t realize it until I saw a build up of the marks all around the edge of the steps. The other corners have rubber guards, I guess to protect the robot and pool. I need to find a resolution to this to continue using it on a frequent basis.. I’m hoping the marks fade. If not, I will need to find a way to remove them without damaging the finish.The product works perfectly. It’s something to see it climb up the sides and over the steps. Works great, easy to use.
It has been one of the best investments for our pool so far. Easy to use.. Plug it in and drop in the water. It cleans and shuts itself off. Time and back saving. Does a great job of cleaning. Even on the walls of our pool. The first time we used it on what we thought was a clean pool. It did a great job of removing any algae that we missed on the walls. Worth the investment.

Fantastic job at cleaning pool. Very simple to operate. No need to connect to the pool plumbing system at all....Just plug it in... drop it in the water & let it run through the 2 hr cycle. All the algae and all the debris will disappear. I have a 40 x 20 pool and often times it will take the second two hour cycle to make the pool spotless. This was our first season using the Dolphin Nautilis CC plus and it has been an incredible timesaver with regards to keeping the pool clean. You may have to brush some odd corners of your pool as we have benches in the deep end and two sets of stairs in the shallow end. That definitely beats the hours of manual labor that we used to do before buying this pool cleaner. We would highly recommend this pool cleaner to anyone that wants an efficient, ... All is not perfect, I have used the discontinued Jandy Ray Vac for years and it run off a separate motor and obviously was left in the pool all the time except to clean the inside collection basket. Spoiled me you could just leave it alone most of the time. The Dolphin unit cannot be left in the pool for long periods and needs lots of attention. The cord will cross loop so you have to watch it just about every time you run it. You have to pull the unit up and let the water drain out of it before you lift it out of the pool, with water it is heavy for me and my wife to lift. Taking it out of the pool and coiling the cord so it does not tangle is a ... So far so good, climbs all over the in-ground plaster pool, really stirs the water up. It is working as advertised and I suppose as good or better than most of the units of this type. The key how long before it breaks down, it is made in Israel, which I think is much better than made in China. Getting it serviced might be a challenge. I got it at a good price comparatively and it is doing a fine job of cleaning the pool. It runs for 2 1/2 hour intervals, Just checked on mine, today it has been running for 2 hours so far and no tangles its doing great. But like I said its not recommended to leave it in the pool for extended periods. What is extended? I take it out every two days, for a day or so in the shade.
