The stand itself is very good quality Steel. Good and heavy and durable. The downside: the instructions are very vague at best. If you absolutely must follow directions to put something together, you will have some issues with this. I ended up scrapping the directions and putting it together myself. Other than that it's a very good racing wheel stand
