This is an excellent headset. I’ve had the V1 since release and had nothing but good experience, and wanted to try the V2s. The braided cable is a huge upgrade from the rubber sheathed one on the V1s, but I do wish it was removable. The in-line mute and volume slider are a nice addition. The 50mm drivers do an excellent job of providing quick and clear audio. The biggest upgrade from the V1s that I’ve noticed so far is the construction. There’s far less liberal use of plastics and much more steel and aluminum which ups the service life on this headset considerably. I’m very satisfied with these and will be continuing to buy Razer products in the future.

So the headset itself is great but the one I got was broken? I’m not sure. It’s as if the right ear of the headset isn’t supposed to go with the headset because it doesn’t fit like the left one does. It hangs open on the bottom and doesn’t seal properly leaving a large gap in sound quality

Just make sure you have your sound card and programs that go with it updated. Because at first my mic would not work. But after the updates it was fine. I use Nahimic 2 and Realtek integrates. Other than that I like how comfortable they are. The surround is amazing and you can change the levels. Also came with volume adjuster and mute with mic button. You will not have better quality base for the $79 cost and is awesome for gaming!

this product is great for the price the everything is functional but the switch to mute the mic is missing and can still be flipped with the headsets audio jack but is a hassle and that's the only reason i'm giving this 4 stars.
