READ FULL REVIEW. To preface: I've been a BadCo fan since their beginning. So I went to a Bad Company concert in Sacramento in the same era (post Paul Rogers)this disc's content was being compiled and I couldn't believe how terrible the show was/sounded. I thought I was watching a garage cover band. The only concert I ever walked out on it was that bad. However...this disc is the exact opposite of what I experienced. THIS ALBUM is great BAD COMPANY make no mistake. It sounds very, very good and what I'd wish I'd have heard at the concert when I saw them perform back then. Buy it!!!!!!
This is a good example of the very consumer popular, post Paul Rodgers era Bad Company. The band never recived the critical acclaim of the original version/lineup, but crafted some radio and MTV friendly songs. This cd is sonically very good and Brian Howe certainly has an amazing voice. He was at the helm from about 1986-1993 and does a decent job of covering the Rodgers Bad Co tunes, keepping them relatively true to form, yet still putting his signature on them. The live cd has Simon Kirke and Mick Ralphs from the original lineup and also Dave Colwell on guitar as wells as veteran British bassist, Rick Wills. (Small Faces, David Gilmour, Foreigner)
