    Incredible.

    I have been a Y&T fan since about 1982. This is like the forth CD I have bought. I have it on media player and still make my own CD's, but somehow, I have worn them out over the years. This Y&T band is so underated as artist and trailblazers for metal/ rock, it is overwhelming. Dave Meniketti has great great singer/ guitarsmith talents. Phil Kennmore was an amazing lyricist and bassist. Learnard Hayes had unfounded chops until Jimmy Degrasso took his spot- Jimmy's Mayham brought a real push and pull to the songs and Dave would run his licks off those fills. I believe is a song from heaven and no other ballad really touches the heart and soul that is put into this song.     An often overlooked band

    Fans of hard rock generally know about the band Y & T but they have never really gotten the attention or respect (or airplay on FM radio) that you'd have expected. Most of the songs they released never really charted or became popular but the band did an awful lot of touring and played for years turning on audiences to their unique style and music. All of the classics are on this one cd, and almost every song on this disk is absolutely outstanding! My personal favorites are the two songs you may hear on the radio from time-to-time: "Summertime Girls" & the rockin' "Midnight In Tokyo" along with my favorite song by them "Mean Streak". If you like very well put together hard rock with really good vocals then this band is for you. Instead ...

    Excellent Classic Band and Album

    I really only knew the Summertime Girls song from radio play, etc. but friends of mine that love more of the classic type rock said that I would like some of their other songs so I decided to get their greatest hits album. I would have to say that I was rather suprised that I really enjoyed the music as I normally like more of the hair/glam band type music...so thumbs up and good times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Best of 81 to 85 -- Y&T

    Great overview of a woefully underrated hard rock band. This compilation has the absolute best cuts from Y&T's best albums: Earthshaker, Black Tiger and Mean Streak as well as songs from later albums. Standouts include: Mean Streak, Midnight in Toyko and Forever. A great listen from beginning to end.
