This is a vintage and apparently never used Outers 12 gauge shotgun cleaning kit. This kit is old since it comes in an original red metal case and also included the original paper sleeve. It is getting harder to find such cleaning kits, especially in such a pristine and what appears to be in an unused condition. Also, the cleaning rods themselves are of the very heavy duty thickness type which from what I can see, are no longer manufactured as new kits. I would recommend to anyone wanting to have a effective, strong and lifelong cleaning kit for their shotguns to purchase such a kit with the caveat that it is complete as sent originally from the factory and that all components are in good to excellent condition.
