hmm i needed the book for my anatomy and physiology class, and what i liked about the book was its price...waow i would have paid double the price if i bought it from my sch book store, so anyway ya i saved a whole bunch of money.....yeahh!!!!...and yea the book was brand new, i wouldnt have got a used book for that price aswell.....it was one of the bestest purchases i ever made and i m very grateful to ebay for giving me this opportunity...and about the book...its a very good book, very informative and its going to b on my book shelve for the rest of my life, very handy for nursing students and off course for any student going in the medical field....its got very good chapter reviews, short quizes after every chapter and the best of all is the books website (student companion site) has helped me alot with its practice quizes....all i can say is that this book is awesome.....and off course ebay:-)Read full review
I love this book!...partially because the professor who required this textbook for my curriculum makes it easy to comprehend. Has a lot of colored pictures -- good for visual learners. I love the diagrams~ And don't forget the pathways (hepatic, fetal, pulmonary....etc)! =p The only thing I don't like about this book is that it's heavy....like most informative textbooks. =p About the physical attributes of the book, it was like-new. No highlighted pages, sentences, texts,...nothing! Excellent condition! Thanks!
I spent half the money I would have spent in the school bookstore or "discount" bookstore in the area. The book is exactly the same page for page as the US version, it is just marked as an international edition that clearly states "not for sale in the US". You would not be able to sell this book back to a college bookstore, but nothing would stop you from reselling it otherwise. In my case I knew that I am going to keep this book because it will be an excellent resource to add to my science textbooks. I can't say that I dislike anything about this book. Bottom line I bought this because I wanted to save bi money by buying my books online versus geting ripped off at a college textbook store. When you have the chance to buy an international edition and save big, go for it. The book is no different from what you would buy in the states, ohter than the price tag!Read full review
This product was alright. It came with the interactive cd and also another brief booklet of the body. The booklet went to details of the body form different views such as the bones and muscles. the book its self, gives good detail about the body. Yet doesn't go into descriptive detail about some of the parts. Their are not enough definitions for some of the words. Then the chapter review really isn’t that helpful towards certain answers you are still looking for.
I bought that book because I need to study in order to make a test and it's an excellent book. I choose e-bay because I didn't know where it's a book store near my home where I can find this kind of books and as far as I know this books usually are expensive. I liked so much and I have enjoyed each page on it. The service was very good. Next time I will use the e-bay service to bay something I need. Thanks.
