I think this is a good book, but most recipes are not suited to my taste. I think veggie burgers as being savory and this book includes recipes like peaches & cream burgers and Peanut Butter & jelly burger which to me are more of a pancake or cookie. What bothers me is that the author is extending the definition of Burger to include Enchilada burger or Swedish Potato Dumpling Burger which I did not care for the taste of either. In the back cover of the book someone wrote, " The best VEggie Burgers on the Planet takes the popular veggie burger to the next level of freshness and flavor......" . To sum up my feelings of this book I feel that this book actually degraded the veggie burger a level. I would recommend Vegetarian Burgers by Bharti Kirchner, Veggie Burgers Every Which Way by Lucas Volger, The Vegetarian No-Cholesterol Barbecue Cookbook(has many good burger recipes) By Kate Shumann, and Meatless Burgers by Louise Hagler over this book.Read full review
