I have used master key locks for firearms and I really like these combination lock better. Great when hunting and you forget your key, actually happened to a new hunter. Thanks and while look for more iteams.

While this item may prevent the pull of the trigger, it will not the firing of the weapon. A magazine can still be inserted. A round can still be loaded in the chamber, and the barrel can still be pulled back and shot forward to fire that round. Very unsafe. Hence the reason why you warned not to leave the weapon loaded. That is the only time the weapon would be safe, which defeats the purpose of having the lock at all.

The construction & quality of the Master Lock trigger lock is what I expect from Master Lock- excellent . The user set combination allows no key access (no key to loose) & no more finding which key is for which lock; just do not forget the combination. The end user is the one only one that can determine if this lock is appropriate/safe for their intended use/application. No single securment method is 100% certain.

It does what it's designed to do which is secure the gun so that it cannot be used when the lock is properly covering the trigger mechanism.

Nice and solid just on the chunky side. If youre going to use the factory case your gun came in it would not shut close but other than that its perfect, locks nice and snug on the trigger guard
