This is an excellent recipe book for anyone wanting to learn how to cook more than pot roast in a crock pot. Beautifully illustrated with informative guide on crockpots, I am so glad I own this book! I had checked it out from the library and just had to buy it when it came time to turn the book back in! The recipes are easy to follow and many have common ingredients already on hand in most kitchens. Just pick a recipe and put it in a crockpot before heading to work. When you get home after a long day, you will be greeted by the delicious aroma of dinner waiting for you. I like to pretend I have a maid that cooks for me! And when you cook in a crockpot, you won't heat up your kitchen in the summer months. If you live in a warm climate, you will definitely appreciate this! There is also a Volume 2 that is just as great as this first book with 230 all new recipes; I bought that book too!Read full review
This is a great cookbook. It has recipes from "real people" who use normal on hand ingredients. Crockpot cooking is a time and money saver. All of the recipes that I have tried in this book have been very good. A friend of mine has had this book for awhile and she has made a lot of delicious meals using it. Some of her dishes prompted me to buy this book.
