30 plus years & still rockin & touring & putting out decent albums. It’s not the TESLA of 1986 that people seem to expect but I still love the band & I love the guys. I like the new album & I don’t mind Tesla evolving & testing new styles & sounds. It’s 2019 we’ve all changed since the ‘80’s / ‘90’s - so have they. Die hard fan here & I enjoy anything they put out - a true fan would !!!! Jeff Keith is BADASS and Tesla would not be Tesla without Jeff or Frank for that matter. Tesla great as always - awesome guys & epic band.

I've always liked Tesla and I've always liked Def Leppard. It's not a surprise that I like this cd quite a bit too, since Phil Collen produced and plays guitar on it. Many songs have a newer Def Leppard sound to them, but yet still sound just like you want Tesla to sound. It starts strong with "You Won't Take Me Alive" and has some other rockers such as "Tied To The Tracks" the title track "Shock" and "The Mission". Tesla's sense of humor shows up on "I Want Everything"...a song I interpret to be about the spoiled "live off the government" generation we are seeing so much of today. Of course there are a few ballads too, which is not a bad thing with these guys, They put the right emotion into their music so there is seldom a song that you just don't listen to. The last track "Comfort Zone" is a great ending to the cd and makes you want to go back and start it all over again. Overall one of the stronger efforts over the last decade from one of the stronger bands of the last 30 years.Read full review
