Pretty useful for keeping an aging XBox 360 cool. It is kept inside a TV cabinet with glass doors on which is hardly ideal but it stops it getting clogged up with pet hair or the cats using it as a heated place to sleep. The cooler's "inclined plane" isn't perfect for a games console that I'd prefer to be flat but it's not really a practical problem for anything - purely aesthetic. Having a small laptop/notebook/chromebook at that angle could be useful for making the typing angle more comfortable. The blue light does nothing for me either but horses for courses I suppose. The wife says it looks nice under the TV so there you go! ;) The "pass-through" USB socket could be useful too - no need to lose a USB socket cos you have this plugged in. Noise from it is pretty minimal too. Those tiny fans would never sound like a jet engine taking off but they only need to be on a low setting to keep air flowing around. For a complete solution I used this in conjunction with an 80mm computer fan with a similar USB socket to extract warm air from the TV cabinet using a hole the same size that would normally be used to feed cables through. Since setting this up we've had no problem keeping the various games consoles cool when in use.Read full review

It is very small. Says it can be used for laptops but it is only about 1/2 the size of mine and the laptop does not fit comfortably on it without tilting off the side. Also the fans are absolutely useless, can feel no air coming off them at all, even when put close to face and hands. Exposed wires on it also get caught in the fan a little bit making me worried that a wire will snap and cause a spark or electric shock. Really bad would not recommend.

I purchased this for my Ps3. It seems a little flimsy. On my fan I noted the usb plug is only the single standard one when it should have a double ended one for giving the system another usb port which is a bit of a let down, I had to use tape to keep the wires away from the blades other than that it looks ok with its blue light. As to how long it will last well we will see. I suppose at £4.99 its worth a go.

Useless waste of money. The weight of my laptop forced this pad down meaning the middle fan was constantly rubbing against a book I keep my kit on. This was a very cheap product and suppose I got what I paid for. I tried gaffa taping the underside of the pad to try and stop the fan from dipping and scraping the book but its just a really cheap crap product. Within a month I couldn't listen to the fan scraping off the book cover any longer and purchased a cooler stand of much higher quality than this.

A neat idea for keeping my laptop cooler. Handy two-way adaptor means you still have a USB port available. Just be careful when transporting it as it seems quite flimsy. For the money it seems good value. How long it lasts is another matter that only time will tell.
