About two thirds the cost of the cheapest metal breech I've found. Even if one wants a longer mental breech, one or two of these would be handy to have in the drawer for interim use when a new 13xx or 22xx is bought. Keep your rear sight in a Baggie for later re-use. If one loads on the left side, you may need need to load on the right once this is installed. I've figured out how to do it both ways though finally.

This is the most effective solution for mounting optics for the Crosman 1322 for those who do not wish to upgrade their receivers to the metal one. Installation was quite straight forward with the removal of the rear sight, and a small screw near the breach. The scope mount package even included the tiny Allen wrench to remove the breach screw...I think this is excellent. Overall, the installation took less than 10 minutes. With the two set screws for the barrel and using the long screw in the rear that was originally for the rear sight, this mount is solid. Can easily accommodate red dot sights.

Easy to install. Sturdy and reliable. It adds some weight of course, but you wouldn't want it with the narrow Weaver-version. Over all a better solution. Surprising bonus: To install it you will have to permanently remove the rear sight, but when finished and in a no-scope-situation you can easily use the front end of the lengthwise gap in the rail as a sight. It's coarse for sure, but you can (after zeroing it) take out rats at 7-8 yards.

Very well designed mounting platform . Easy to install and very stable. All the components are of very good quality. I used this item to mount a Simmons Red Dot scope on my Crosman 1322 and groups shot from 10-15 yards were very impressive (see photos ). Highly recommend this product.

High quality steel Picatinny rail system which supplied the essential base to mount a scope on my Crosman American 1377 Pellet pistol. Once the scope was mounted I was consistently shooting 1/2 inch groups at 15 yards. Perfect for my backyard Starling eradication program. I you have a Crosman 1377 pellet pistol, this is the essential quality upgrade you need.
