I need a few items of concreting done and thought about renting a mixer or getting someone else to do it. But because I have the time and space decided to purchase this mixer. It did take a couple of hours to put together as I did it on my own. Not recommended. Anyway I have used it once and very easy to operate and clean afterwards. Highly recommended. I was considering the 180 litre mixer but I find this 140 litre a nice size for wheelbarrowing.

Haven't used the mixer other than run it empty after it was put together. It's noisy but suspect it will 'mellow' when everything beds in. Disappointed with the condition it arrived in. The protecting rim around the drum ring had been dented, and had to be 'tapped out' with a small hammer to give enough clearance for it to run. The protecting cover around the motor drive cog has been knocked and does not cover the small cog well enough to prevent loose materials being caught up. This I have yet to deal with, but may need some further tapping from a small hammer to realign it. So...machine arrived damaged which needed minor fixing....disappointing, but not worth all the hassle of dismantling, repacking and sending back. Also assembly is straight forward enough, but some steps do need two pairs of hands. Finally...the proof of a good mixer is how it takes the knocks it will definitely get, how sturdy the motor is.....and finally how well it mixes.....The jury's outRead full review

For the money it's a truly wonderful machine instructions for assembly are a bit useless but it no to hard to work out. The power is fine and the speed is good , and the height is perfect for my wheel barrow to fit under and tip into without spilling concrete. The machine is a little noisey but nothing excessive. Over all great for the money had over 30 loads out of it and no problems so far.

It's a cheap mixer for the size, so quality isn't going to be top-notch. That said, it works well, makes a good mix and is easy enough to move around the site. My issues were with the assembly, the instructions aren't the best, some of the holes were drilled slightly misaligned for where they needed to be (I redrilled the holes to make it fit), and swapped the warped rubber gasket for the drum, with a healthy bead of CT1. If you're happy to have a cheap mixer that might need a bit of tinkering to get it assembled, it'll likely work well for you. Only been used a couple of times, so I can't speak for it's longevity.

Took about an hour to build and the final result is a good value product. Very sceptical as it is chinese build but I used straight after and batched 1 tonne of grit sand mortar for slab laying with no issues. Instructions not great but look at the packs and fairly straight forward to identify which pack to use for what.
