I have three little dogs and I did a double blind taste test of 3 dog foods comparing Royal Canin Yorkie, Science Diet Small breed, and Natural Balance Sweet Potato small bites. They are all high end dog foods. Science Diet was hands down their favorite, followed by Royal Canin. Interestingly enough, Science Diet was less expensive. I didn't want to throw away the others so I blended them and my dogs pick out the Science Diet and eat it first. So there you have it.

I was a bit disappointed by the list of ingredients. This may be a balanced diet scientifically, but there is way too much grain in it. My dog will not eat it. I have to mix it with pedigree dry so he will. For the money I believe I'll get him the Blue Buffalo next time.

My little stray Yorkie Terrier mix came with this food and I've kept her on it since. Tiny bites make it easy for her to eat. She must like it since I don't find it in my couch like my other dog did with his Veterinary special food.

Hill's dry and canned food is the only thing I feed my dogs. It was originally recommended by my vet, and they all love it. My family owns 4 shelter dogs, and they all are eager eaters and thrive on Hills Science Diet.
