These are great for blocking sound and ear protection. But we bought them for our 2-year-old and they are really hard to open, so he can't put them on himself. They are even a bit tricky for me to wrangle to put them on. We have drums in the house so I'm really glad to have the hearing protection for him, but wish they were easier to open and put on.
