I'm always THRILLED when I find a copy of this CD. One is not enough!
UNBELIEVABLE 2 CD SET! One of my favorite 3 Sinatra albums for a few reasons: 1: the "REPRISE" label that Sinatra founded in late 1950's, and it truly invigorated his career - his voice became more powerful, his arrangements far more bold; 2: the song selection, as with Reprise: the Very Good Years is great, bold, under the Reprise label but has only about half the tracks, and 3: THESE TRACKS WERE ALL taken from the 81 tracks of reprise sold on the 4 cd Sinatra: the Reprise Collection (4 cd's with booklet- VERY rare- very hard to find new (I have 4 and don't know whether to open one or just keep them sealed as CD's today are like Vinyl's (considered "old fashioned") and out of date. Most classic discs, well, most cd's in general are OOP and this one has been OOP for about 20 years. If you can pick up a new one, whether you are a collector (in which case buy a used one on ebay to listen to but save this b/c the supply is less than 2% of what it was when printed). Appraised by Robert Dweck Of Deja Vu Galleries at only $30 last year new, and almost TWICE that this year. THAT's amazing. These are the top 40 songs of his career with the top 40 arrangements of his career. Probably one of my top 2 albums of all time (the other being, of course, Frank Sinatra: the Reprise Collection. It has no equal and cannot be compared to any other vocalist or musician of his day; not Bennett, not Bacharach, not Stan Getz, not anyone. A MUST HAVE.Read full review

Beyond Words!
This is a real sleeper of a release. First off, great selection of songs from mid-career Sinatra at his peak. Second, the sound is EXTRAORDINARY! Simply a great sounding CD with no ‘Brick walling.’ Full of dynamic range and clear beautiful vocals and orchestrations. Incredible find. Highly recommended!!.

Ya no. Esta colección es sin duda una de las más completas de temas originales de Frank Sinatra, una síntesis pero más viaje por su prodigiosa carrera. Esta es toda una pieza para coleccionistas y melómanos, es una lástima que ya no se consiga en las tiendas.
