This is some very high speed flash memory. If you have USB 3.0 or higher, get an external card reader to take advantage of the fast read/write speeds. Transferring large photos via my camera with a cable to my computer is slowed by USB 2.0. In the camera, reading data, formatting and deleting items happens very quickly. Very good stuff.
