The product is in a very liquid and oily form. Mindful of the one star review, I scraped as much product off the brush, using the inside lip of the can, as possible. Even so, there was plenty of lubricant on the brush: enough to do the whole chain. Turn the brush sideways so that the thin side of the tip contacts the rollers. After all, you only need to lubricate that part. In essence, you want just enough to do the job. I wiped off the excess after a few rotations of the chain. For weeks, now, it has worked perfectly... even in rain and post rain road grit. Chain is still lubed and clean. I am well satisfied with Eco-Sheep and will continue to use it in my monthly maintenance routines.

I tried this out for my mountain bike. It gunked up so badly, and was difficult to remove. Very disappointing, ended up throwing it away
