My Summary of Shamisen Song: Rising: A furious and fiery tempest tornado that can hide amidst and amongst peaceful hills for when it tires of its fervent fires and practicing pyres... and when awoken... it to pick itself back up again, to blast back, and pass yesterday's pack... to guide itself to full gale gust... and to be born anew from its napping state of like soporific rust... and so, to whereby, it, may once again, storm and twist its whirlwind gait... to satiate, and make winds of massive whips, whip wildly without there being any weight of constraint. -X; Who Best of Yoshida Brothers: Boldly breath-taking, a fleet of foot feeling, where when masterful, minstrel men, make and take archaically arcane music, and dare to make it dance, and would dare to entrance, to electrify, to awaken soul-shaking, sleeping-status trance, where musings made merry and of mystic manifestations, make way, without waylaying dismal dismay, and muses are ardently dispatched in equally awesome ardency, making monumental advance; now, in awe, and in awesome valor, having nigh nascent ears of liken kin to xeno-travelling traveler, I hear hastened, heavily honed beats, being fervently frequented and being distinguishingly discrete; and as if being read from some sacred musical text and sheet, and as if thru soul-shattering-shakings of scintillating, sound-pounding shamisen, which and whereby when, limits of self, of myself…shatter, and reveal unsealing ceiling; now being unbound to where I was and to where now I am, I am able to soar sky freely from above, and free to dive drive down to ferociously feral depths where-off, to mostly places far and unheard of. I have held interest in the Asian arts and its steeped in lore, ancient approaches, for a number of years; but only recently have I dedicated my pursuit to the secret secreting sound of shamisen; it being the three-stringed lute-like instrument of the oriental shores. In this constructed, compositional, CD-collection, the soundtracks are depicted via plucked and played in light, finger-flying instrumental, livid-levities, which I usually adore, and direly adore over the wasted words that can be found in the world banality, whereby and by, in a never ending like story, words are amiss to any real-real lore; and these overused words and concepts I really can loathe and hate, this being, I must implore; that being, words would be brandished by anyone, many and much, a many times, more and more, beyond garish, gaudiness galore. If in any track of this CD, human harnesses his or her voice, I must make mention, “rejoice”, for it would only arise from human heralding howl of spoken vocalilty; in this, it would only occur to serve as sound of like that of kabuki-style, being as only laconically vibratile, as if it were harbingered in by bardic-barbarian, briefly wielding and yielding tribal war-shout, it being emanating ode, coming from him or coming from her, and something quite to behold; and in this, is where warrior-poet belts out bellowing, chanting chorus from place and time, upon where it is from the ancient eidolon old, and in like of the midst of a battle bout, bardic-barbarian’s energy emanates…satiating, and now ensuring surging stamina to hold, without any cause for doubt. While there are a number of frenzy flayed notes in these songs; there are also several serene sanctuaries, acting as rest spots, places to pause and repose amongst and amidst the seeming onslaughtsRead full review
A great use of a traditional musical instrument to produce a more modern sound, but still retaining some of the traditional feeling. A great break from the music I listen to day-to-day. Includes a great collection of songd, with both fast and exciting songs, as well as deep and emotional songs. Reccomended to anyone who would like explore different music.
