4oo Pages of well thought out, very good, very easy recipes!!! The index is very complete so you can easily look up your favorites. I also mark "my favorites" with quick stick index tabs. I expected beautiful, glossy, Better Homes style pictures but alas there are none. It would be nice to "see" the beautiful, completed meals. The trade-off ofcourse would be a much higher price for the book. The Book lays nicely and is of good size (8" by 9"). The type is blue and a little small for us who like to cook without our glasses. Again, I suppose that several more colors and larger print would rasise the page count and price. Over all, the book is well thought out with 9 chapters...1) appetizers & Beverages 2) Soups & Stews 3) Side Dishes 4) Beef, Pork & Lamb 5) Poultry 6) Meatless ... 4oo Pages of well thought out, very good, very easy recipes!!! This book finally breaks the ice on how to make good, tasty and healthy food with your slow cooker! What a great device for the working person. Fill it up with raw ingredients in the morning, turn it on, go to work; and, when you get home, the family's meal is cooked. The food is nutritions and tasty. With all the receipes in this fine book, you can have a different dish each day, for a year, and still have some left over! Super book! Biggest Book of Slow Cooker Recipes
My mother-in-law gave it to me, and I love it, I wanted my daughter to have one also so I got on Ebay and of course there it was! And inexpensive like always. My daughter is alway busy with her job at church, husband & 3 children. She loves to find good, easy recipes. We both love the book, the easy recipes cause us to just put the food in and let it cook while gone all day.
