This is a really good compilation of songs by supergroup Queen. I have owned the disc for years and this replaces old editions. The songs are now old and the sound quality will not compare to modern high quality recordings. However, modern songs will come nowhere close to the actual songs here. I am yet to hear a vocalist that can come anywhere near to the late Freddie Mercury. Playing on a very high end audio system, some back ground hiss is still audible on some tracks. There is certainly an improvement in clarity, but I guess there is only so much that can be done with recordings that are now well over twenty years old. For a few pounds this, and all previous issues, is fabulous. Queen are certainly a very hard act to beat.
This Queen Greatest Hits CD conrtains most of the band's hits, which bring back fond memories of the 1970s and of course, their subsequent wonderful LiveAid performance in July 1985 !
