I used to watch his shows on cable TV back in the 90's. Even bought some of his VHS tapes. Definitely his routines are not for individuals with a weak heart. The routines would leave me breathless and my heart wanting to get out of my chest. Glad to know that this one is available on DVD since my VHS tapes are work out. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get shape. The secret relies on adjusting the routines to your pace and increase at tolerated. No matter how long it takes as long as you keep your body in motion.

I was hoping this was a DVD of several of his 1/2 hour programs - it sort of is but instead of 7 minutes of his usual warm up, then 7 min of aerobics, then 7 minutes of shape up moves, etc., this is several sceens of warm up, then several scenes of aerobics, then several sceens of shape up, etc. You can't do a half-hour work out like the old tv show unless you keep fast forwarding to the next segment you want. You would have to watch the 1st segment of warm up, then fast forward through a few more segments of warm up to get to the 1st aerobic session. Then you have to fast forward through the next 3ish aerobic segments to get to a shape up session. Disappointed but better than nothing.

Save money- don't buy Gilad's Quick Fit System, get this and Gilad's Sculpt and Tone, many segments are the same. If you are looking for a cutesy instructor that is mostly concerned with how they look to the camera this DVD is not for you. The workout includes both high and low impact aerobics and an abdominal workout that will whip you into shape if you use it regularly. This is a very good DVD at the intermediate level, but is still useful to beginning (you might need to have a short break at times) and advanced users. Gilad is one of my favorite instructors because he doesn't use moves that are too complicated to repeat -yet still manages to give you a challenging workout, if you are as uncoordinated as I am this is a plus. Instead of a boring workout in a bland gym room, Gilad takes you to 12 different beautiful beaches while he gets your heart pumping, for about an hour. Drink plenty of water during this workout- you will need it- and a towel to mop up the sweat. Unlike many other workout videos, this one makes sure that you do an even number or reps on each side. If you use this video alternately with Gilad's Sculpt and Tone a couple of times a week, you will be amazed at how good you look and you will burn fat even faster.Read full review
Gilad was one of many aerobic instructors on ESPN back in the 90's and his "Bodies in Motion" show was one of my favorite. This disc is a compilation of some of his favorite workouts in some of his favorite locations in Hawaii. The workouts are very easy but very fun. I don't know why we ever stopped doing aerobics. If anyone works for ESPN and is reading this, please consider bringing back basic aerobics to your network (especially in the morning). Great disc! If you're a fan of 90's aerobics, this is a great "must-have" disc.
I've watched Gilad on fit tv for years. When my cable company no longer had fit tv I didn't know what I was going to do without Gilad. I remembered I could purchase his videos and I am so glad I've found them at a reasonable price on ebay. This video like most of Gilad's videos will get you into shape. It's for all fitness levels and his direction is easy to follow. He uses basic moves that will shape you up without complicated machinery. I highly recommend this video for men, women and all age groups. His videos never go out of style, you'll use it forever. If you get bored, just buy others; Gilad has plenty. This one should keep you occupied for some time though. Final word: Awesome!
