I'M AFRAID I GOOFED ON BUYING THIS CD. I ONLY RECOGNIZED 2 SONGS AND EVEN THAN ONE WAS JUST PART OF TRIO. I HAD HEARD HIM SING AND SAW HIM ON THE INTERNET. EVERY SONG HE SANG, I LOVED. I THOUGHT THEY ALL WERE ON THIS RECORD AS IT SAID IT WAS ROYAL ALBERT HALL THAT HE WAS AT. I TRIED TO GET THE DVD, WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT THAN THE MUSIC THAT WAS ON THE CD. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CD EXCEPT MY ERROR IN NOT KNOWING WHAT SONGS HE'D SUNG

Michael Ball has been one of my favorite singers for many years. His voice and delivery are great and the songs on this CD are terrific. I would recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys good music.

This album is very appropriately entitled. IMO, it is indeed among the very best of Michael Ball. He is at his very best performing in front of an audience. While listening to the album, you can just feel the excitement that took place at the Royal Albert Hall that night almost as if you were there yourself. Each song is brilliant! I was completely blown away by the medley "Prepare Ye The Way To The Lord/Gethsemane." The Blues Brothers medley is also a lot of fun, but again as I already mentioned all the songs are fantastic! I also highly recommend the DVD by the same name as you can actually watch it all. Do not hesitate in buying this album, if you are a Michael Ball fan and have not heard THIS album, it is a must to add to your collection. If you have not purchased an album by Michael Ball and debating which one to purchase, I highly recommend this one for your first purchase. After listening to this album, I am sure you will become hooked and rush out and purchase all his other albums!Read full review
