All works except the :Paper Tray" there is a spring that raise the paper tray " UP " is too weak , so the tray has to be bumped often to activate the system. other wise it works O.K.. ( We can see the many scratched marls under the tray, indicate the reason for your sale. I knew it was a used item. I will be getting another tray.

The HP 8600 is a true workhorse, and it uses little ink. This printer is no longer being produced, so if you can buy a very good model, you would be wise to do so. My last 8600 HO Office Jet Pro printer produced thousands and thousands of copies before it failed. I had used it for years.
