Fair quality for the money...Not as easy to install as they claim, but not really hard either....You might have to run it on an extention cord if no receptacle is close enough, and doing that, is good enough for the user, but if you can wire it to the furnace itself it's better....You can add a box with receptable to the furnance power switch control, also know as the on off switch box...I cut the end off the cord and wire to to the furnace control board, if the furnace has one, and there are terminals for an electronic air filter...The terminals are 120v on the board, for the electronic air cleaner...One wire to the line post, marked for the cleaner and the other to the common line terminal, also marked...The lights will then run, only when the blower does....People seem to like them, no complaints as yet and easy bucks if you can do them....TURN THE POWER OFF ON THE FURNACE BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!...IT CAN BITE!Read full review

I bought this knowing it was at a budget price but never thought it would only last two weeks before the bulbs stopped working. I followed all instructions and installed without touching the bulbs and don’t know when exactly it stopped after installation but I checked it weekly by pulling the filter in my bedroom and I could see the blue glow without directly looking at the bulbs. 2nd week blue glow was gone so I went and checked, blue light on unit was on but the bulbs no longer worked. Don’t waste your money.

My HVAC company wanted $600 for a similar unit with only 1 bulb. This was super easy to install and I like that it has a plug and does not have to be hard wired to the furnace power.

This UVC light D200 does the job. Here are the things you need to know after testing that it works. 1. This is Major!! The template is wrong and does not match up the unit. I used a 1 3/4" hole saw to make 2 holes exactly 3 5/8" apart on center. This means the center of one hole to the center of the other is 3 5/8". 2. I installed this on the intake duct near the furnace and wired it to the blower. This part is tricky if you don't know what you are doing. My motor was a variable speed motor but the furnace only controlled one speed (Hi) even though all 8 motor wires were plugged in. Using the schematic on the inside of the furnace door I was able to figure out that the black and white wires were the "Hi" wires. I used wire taps and verified that when running the voltage was 110VAC with a meter. 3. The plug on the unit that is wider is the Neutral and the smaller is the Hot. After cutting them and putting the tap connector on them I plugged them in and turned the system on. The light went on and when the system went off the light went off. I wanted to control this with the blower since this is only a heating furnace. If this was dual heat/AC, I would have just plugged it in and let it remain lit. But in NY it would be have been on all summer for nothing. Your setup may be different but you need to know about the template to prevent a cutting mistake.Read full review

Quality was better than expected. Very easy install. The replace bulbs are much cheaper than the last UV light.
