Subjective Opinion Rather Than Collective Overview
While lovely if you know the Landes and wanted their opinion, I had hoped that this would be more of a collection of views of the consensus of many rather than one persons research or travel journal. I bought the book as an 'authority' not a dissertation and so I was disappointed. If you are smarter than I am and are aware that this was written by a man of great fortune you would approach the purchase with a better understanding of what you should expect. You would rate this excellent if you want one person's view. I assumed otherwise from the title and feel that the title is misleading - I would have preferred, "Andrew and Nathaniel Lande's Ten Best of Everything Lists".
