Not bad for an old game. It has quadruple the intensity of Sim City, but falls short in some facets. I found it difficult to increase prosperity due to spatial factors...The game will tell you what needs to be done in order to make the rich people (patricians) move in. There's always a poor house too close, or not enough entertainment/education etc... It seems that the game is a bit too difficult to be as much fun as it could for me and I'm playing on EASY! The balancing act between having the correct types of goods and number of different food items is too unstable. You can quickly build up too much of one item which takes up all of the storage space for other more needed items. Trade with other provinces is a nice touch, but I still found it difficult to make large sums of money like you can do in Sim City. There are some easy ways to make more money in Caesar 3, however, such as changing a simple - to a + in the program script to make the game pay you every time you place an item such as a road. This game is well worth the $5 you can expect to pay for it on Ebay, and you'll get a few good days if not weeks worth of play out of it.Read full review

It is important to read and understand the minimum and recommended system requirements for any PC video game. Systems that are faster than the minimum may provide significantly better performance and improve your gaming experience. Some PC video games list specific video card requirements and will not function without. It is also important to mention (because we sell video games on ebay) that we do not sell titles as NEW once they are opened and installed for testing. Most test games find a home with one of our testors (employees) and in rare circumstances, we will sell clearly marked as opened and used.Read full review
I Love old games. I believe modern games have lost something in place of slick graphics so I rarely bother. Caesar II is a classic and I find it an enjoyable experience to play. It is one of those games that there is so much to do, you will find yourself losing hours playing. The graphics are comparable to SimCity 2000 and about the same age. It runs great on Dosbox which is a free download and will run on anything, I am using Windows 10 64x. Worth a try if you like city builders and it also has fighting to keep you interested.

I used to play this game ten years ago, and just played it again for the first time since. It is still as much fun as it was then, and I can sit at my computer and play for hours! It has the old graphics , but that doesn't matter. Lots of fun!
