Product claims to also be a "d" type filter when it clearly is not. Although they do look exactly the same at first the biggest flaw is the inner blue ring. These are to big and won't fit. Not recommended for anyone looking for d type filters.

Although this product works, I think it should not be classified as Type VII/ D. Why? Because the Type D filters are supposed to have a center piece in the middle of the filter for the chlorine tablets to stay inside there. This filter does not have that.

Works with type D or type VII (7) pool pumps. You must clean your pool the best you can using a skimmer before replacing them or you'll be clogging your filter up sooner than expected. Once clean they'll last about a month or so, roughly 3 weeks I'd say.

As others said, this is not actually a type D - No shelf in the middle for chlorine tabs, but we are making them work anyway, and as far as filtering goes, these are the best we have had. I wash it off every few days, and have been using the same one for several weeks. Still works like brand new.

Decent filters easy to clean holding up well. Only dislike is it doesn't have a little screen in the middle to put chlorine tabs like the original one that came with the pool but that's a minor detail other than that perfect.
