    brilliant brilliant

    Hi, Its of my era, bearing in mind my dad was in the home guard, it brings back memories of those times, and grim times they were, no sweets no fruits, and very little to eat, and death was always on your doorstep with indescriminate bombings, thank God for those Spitfire pilots who risked all at 19/20 years of age, when I see the youth of today my heart sinks, and I ask myself would it be possible today, well thats enough of that, yes I would buy other episodes.

    Brilliant value, dad loves it.

    Very pleased bought this for my elderly father for Christmas from the grandchildren. He is a massive fan and will watch it over and over again.

    Comedy as it should be

    I remember seeing Dad's Army years ago and knowing then it was excellent comedy and even then it was a very old progamme,its the type of comedy writing which does'nt date no matter how many times you see the episodes,the actors do a amazing job delivering the lines and for someone whos only 30 i find it a very funny show,i can't wait to pick up the best of vol 2,on ebay of course.
