I have now owned 3 copies of this recipe book. First two were paperback, and over time they wore out from use. Junior League cookbooks are great, but this one is my favorite. This book offers a broad spectrum of flavors, is well-organized and an excellent resource for family meals and entertaining.

Wide variety and simple recipes that don't require odd ingredients and if I don't have something I just improvise something similar. If you like frog legs there is a recipe for that to but I have never had that. I like the league type recipe books as they are chock full of recipes.

My mother had this book when it was first published in the 80's. I used it often and borrowed it eventually. Then I lost it. So glad to get it back in my book collection. Well worth having. Retro!
