This item is somewhat inconsistent in it's readings, but I think it is pretty accurate. If I test a stone a few times, I often get a couple of false positive readings when it is not a diamond. It's extremely sensitive to the metal parts of a piece of jewelry which makes it hard to test very small stones, but overall I'm satisfied with it. It will tell you if a stone is a diamond or not, even if you have to test it a few times, which is all it is advertised to do.

The transaction was not flawless 1 of 2 two items did not ship or arrive. No packing slip was provided in the box so it was a grey area. Seller resolved the situation quickly. Product as described. Had some difficulty figuring out the on/off of the flashlight. Fast double push to turn off. Single push to turn on or scroll through flashlight settings. Instruction slip and packing slip on multiple items would help.
