My first graders used them for the first time today. Their reindeer drawings on black construction paper turned out vivid. The color glides on and sticks to the paper. There were a few broken pastels but I expected that with Firsties. The packaging is sturdy and easily accessible for the students for distribution and cleanup. I would recommend for elementary classroom use.
