About this product

Product Information

One of the most distinctive performers in Hollywood, Christopher Walken's incredibly broad range of talent was on display in full force during his tenure as host of Saturday Night Live. His skill as a dancer, on view in Spike Jonze's award winning-video for Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice," is once again brought to light here in the hilarious "Boulevard of Broken Balls." His popular incarnation as "The Continental," in which he plays a suave Don Juan directly addressing the camera, makes two appearances, as well as Walken's spoof of the character he plays in the film THE DEAD ZONE, trivial physic Ed Glosser. Rounding out the selection is the famous Cowbell skit, featuring Walken as music producer Bruce Dickinson in the studio with Blue Oyster Cult. In addition to all the audience favorites, the collection includes a couple of skits taped during dress rehearsal and have never been seen until now.

I lost my itunes copy when I upgraded to a newer ipod, as it was no longer available. I was so disappointed and couldn't find it, even on searches.

    Walken is GR8.

Christopher Walken was GR8 -- but Saturday Night Live's writers missed the mark this time. (That is, they wrote lines for Walken that were not very funny.) Still, I enjoyed just seeing Christopher Walken. As always. (Of course, if you really want to see a GR8 Walken film, see "The Deerhunter." FABULOUS film.

  • Get a great bunch of laughs here! More Cowbell !

One of the best actors of our time, Christopher Walken also has a comical side that you don't see in movies, but you'll see it here. The "More Cowbell" skit is not only one of the most comical scenes I have ever seen, but it has made it's way to classic status. Just mention 'I need more cowbell' to someone who is familiar with the skit and it will return a hearty smile and a good chuckle to boot. Well worth the price you'll pay for the DVD. My library would not be complete without this SNL DVD, if not expressly for the cowbell skit alone. Everything else on it is a bonus! A must see, must have! It's hysterical.

  • Must See!

To me, Christopher Walken is a very serious actor. He is a straight lace kinda guy on camera, someone you wouldn't want to mess with. It was great to see him do Saturday night live because he is just so serious but so funny at the same time! This is a must see for any Christopher Walken fan! He does everything from being a handsome man trying to seduce the camera, to being my favorite when he is Bruce Dickinson and keeps on telling the Blue Oyster Cult "I need more Cowbell" (Will Ferrell does a great job in that one also).

  • Guys I need more Cow Bell

There are some funny sketches from Christopher Walkens and SNL cast on this DVD. One showing the making of the Continental, with the white glove worn by the camera person. The famous, I need More Cow Bell sketch. The Pranksters with the tire iron. The Cornel Angus skit is the best one. You can tell when Chris is reading the cue cards and this is even funny to watch. WOW we wow wow. I only paid 3.98 and free shipping.
