This is a nice, versatile vac that is useful for light jobs... we use it primarily to keep the tile floor clean near our cat's litterbox, and it is well-suited for that. It has a good balance between power and noise level, and the swivel feature makes it very easy to maneuver. The 3-way versatility is nice to have when you need it, and it has a long power cord that reduces the need to change where it is plugged in. It is easy to see how much debris is in the waste chamber, and it is also easy to empty. The vacuum head design makes it good at picking up larger chunks; however, that same design makes it more difficult to pick up small particles in the recessed grout areas between the floor tiles. I bought this to clean up kitty litter my cat tracks everywhere. I had been using a Dirt Devil (similar small vacuum) but as not pleased with its performance. So far, I prefer this one. But be real - this is a "toy" vacuum, meant only for light sweep ups. This one was easy to put together, its light weight, and works fine with small messes.
