I have been getting my hair colored in fantasy colors for the last ten years. I have a great stylist and a hair care routine that's kept my hair healthy, shiny, with long lasting color. Anyone who does non-natural colors can tell you those things are hard to accomplish. I thought I had everything covered, until my husband and I made a temporary (year and a half) move to somewhere with incredibly hard water. My hair turned to limp straw and my beautiful purple leeched from hair to where it looks like white and pastel cotton candy (not as cute as it sounds). My proven methods did nothing to help.
