I got this inexpensive but useful splitter/combiner to pull in all the local digital channels from TV station antennae/broadcasters that were in essentially opposite directions from my house. Prior to adding the combiner an omnidirectional antenna did not quite do the trick. To the degree possible, I aimed the omnidirectional north toward the mountain on which multiple stations have broadcasting antennae. I also mounted a small directional antenna on the same mast but aimed it southeast at a single station's antenna that is only about 4 miles from our house. Prior to installing the splitter I was getting erratic reception, to say the least. Now I get every station that's available. I was still having some interference during rainy or snowy weather but since changing to a shorter, shielded coaxial, cable and getting rid of one adapter I've had no problems with interference. I had read several posts online stating that this sort of arrangement simply would not work. It works well for me. Read full review

THIS splitter is the only one that seems to work with sat lnbs. this is good when i want to combine a lnb H signal with another lnb H signal but on diffrent freq and channel. it works this weay better than using a seperate switch device that uses power. so its a custom setup.
